Kim Yuri dilarikan ke pusat medis di Samsung-dong, Seoul setelah upaya bunuh diri tersebut diketahui, namun laporan kemudian mengungkapkan bahwa sayangnya dia telah meninggal dunia.

Tampaknya penggemar telah mendapat petunjuk tentang rasa sakit yang dia alami, sebagaimana beberapa hari sebelumnya, ia telah menulis pada mini homepage, “Tidak peduli berapa kali aku berpikir tentang hal ini .... Lebih dari seratus kali .... Aku satu-satunya di dunia ini.”

Lahir pada tahun 1989, Kim Yuri adalah mahasiswi jurusan Bahasa Inggris di Universitas Hanshin sebelum membuat debut sebagai model untuk merek high-end seperti MCM dan MAX MARA, serta fashion show seperti Seoul Collection dan Daegu Collection.
